Classroom
We believe that teaching is not just loading the students with lectures and lessons. It is more about increasing the students' comprehension levels through various interesting methods and tools. The Classrooms provide the most conducive atmosphere for dynamic and focused discussion. They have been designed to bring together analysis with action and are augmented by well-equipped facilities. Classroom learning is intense and interactive where students learn latest technologies, tools and knowledge to face the challenges, rapidly changing world. The concepts taught in class form the basis, while actual learning occurs through interaction between faculty and students. The student faculty interface enhances an atmosphere that is intellectually stimulating, leading to a thriving academic temper.
Laboratory
The College has well equipped separate labs for Studies for teaching and research. Students use resources of the laboratories to solve problems, perform developmental experiments and work on projects guided by faculty. By granting longer hour’s lab facility and access to the network from each class room and lecture theatre, information is made easily accessible from any point within the campus. The experiments are designed to provide deeper understanding of phenomenon, facts and fabrication/assembling of equipment from components to get hands-on experience. The labor of repetitive measurements is reduced by shift forwards microcomputer based laboratory which allows the detailed analysis and interpretation of acquired data for our students.
Library
The library plays a pivotal role in the intellectual pursuits of students and academia at the college. The library of the college, fully computerized, is a veritable storehouse of information with ample text and reference books, national and international periodicals & journals, Thesis & Dissertations. The library has a special collection of prescribed text books for students. The library provides latest research and reference material in print with the facility to refer to e-journals, CDs, Project Reports, Government Publications, Reports and Newsletters, back volumes related to management, information technology, mass communication, hospitality management, fashion, science etc. for the reference of the students and the faculty which help them in strengthening teaching and learning process. Keeping in mind the needs of the students, the multiple copies of the standard textbooks and books by well-known authors have been stocked. Distinctive and well stocked individual libraries have also been developed for different programs in different Schools of studies.
Cafeteria
The Cafeteria not only provides a vibrant atmosphere and unleaded fuel for the day but also put forth a new method of knowledge sharing. It is an innovative and informal method of learning where one can debate, discuss and deliberate over a cup of coffee and thereby actively nurture one’s interpersonal skills. It provides all type of nutritious and hygienic eatables and beverages to cater to the multi-ethnic tastes of students, staff and visitors.
Seminar hall
A large spacious fully air conditioned auditorium caters to the need of the appropriate ambience to conduct various cultural events, competitions, auditions and other activities. The Great Hall is equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual devices providing services such as video conferencing, film presentations, and a cinema screen.
Cultural activities
Various colorful cultured programs are organized in Rajasthan PG College throughout the year to refresh the students time to time. Various cultural activities like Basant Panchami ,Freshers Party, Youth week Farewell Party etc. are integral part of our academic calendar. Basant Panchami is organized every year to give an outlet to the creative faculty of the students. During this festival various cultural activities and competitions like Rangoli, Mehandi and painting competition are organized. These competitions are organized to enhance the creative side of the students.
Sports
The College has appointed a full time and permanent, qualified D.P.E. to look after games and sports activities in the college. The college provides facilities in the indoor and outdoor games like chess, table-tennis, carom, badminton, cricket, handball, volleyball and athletics. The College has participating in as many as games and sports competitions/tournaments organized by the University sports board. Many players of this college have the honor to represent the university teams in the All Indian Inter-University Tournaments/competition. A number of players have won Gold/ Silver medals in the University competition (Inter-college). They have not only won medals but have also represented Rajasthan State Teams in the National Games.
Curriculum
Co-curricular activities form an important part of the college curriculum as the college believes that such activities are necessary for the all-round development of a student’s personality. A youth week is organized every year in which teams from other colleges also compete with the students of the college. Besides, college students are encouraged to participate in cultural activities organized by Rajasthan PG College. Students get opportunities to develop their own interest and also learn team work, communication skills end leadership qualities.
